FUNDING
Danish Centre for Culture and Development - Danish Centre for Culture and Development Funding is opened to all developing countries,
mainly for development of Art (film, photography included) to be showcased in Denmark.

Africalia - Belgium based organisation that funds all art and culture projects including the production of films that showcase this.
Submissions can be made throughout the year 4months before the event.

Ford Foundation - Short course education money usually if you belong to an organisation will make things easier when applying. They also fund different stages of production.

Goetheburg- deadlines 1 March and 1 October.

Hubert Bals Fund (HBF) - The HBF is able to make individual grants of up to Euro 10,000 for script and project development, Euro 30,000 for post-production or Euro 15,000
towards distribution costs in the country of origin. Deadlines 1st March and 1st September.

Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) - Media & Motion Pictures - Opened to South Africa and productions in co production with South Africa. Submissions are all
year-round for contribution of more than R1, 000 000 or US$155, 000

The Jan Vrijman Fund - Supports the devolpment of Documentaries from developing countries. Deadlines is 1st February and 01 June.

South African Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Currently is seems to be limited to big budget films mainly through co productions and rebate of international films shot in South Africa.

South African National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) - development, production, postproduction, marketing of films and bursaries. Submission accepted all year round, however response is the

determined by council meeting quarterly. Opened to: South Africans, Other countries only through Co productions.
