WoS Film Festival Partners with the UN to Host the 1st UNiTE Film Festival 6th - 10th December

 

This is part of the 16days of activism UNiTE to End Violence Against Women and Children. A campaign launched by UN Secretary-General Ban-Ki Moon with the objective to raise public awareness and increase political will and resources to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls in all countries across the globe. 

The Main venue for the screenings and discussion Forums is Market Theatre, but will also consist of outreach programme with indoor and outdoor screenings in Soweto, Yeoville, Alexandra and Pretoria . more...

 

 

The 1st WoS Film Festival (WoSFF) Outreach programme

Partnering with the Department of Arts and Culture (DAC)  is now emabarking on a roadshow, taking some of it the last WoSFF films to South African Provinces, many of whom the film industry does not reach.  More on the Festival

WoS and Mzansi Magic partnering to give 5 WoS Members a chance to direct their first long-format drama! 

To qualify for this chance you need to have directed before (Short Film, Advert, Documentary, PSA), and have a final script to submit. In the meantime do polish those scripts and renew your membership or become a WoS member!
